Recipe

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup (63g) Whole Wheat flour
  • 2 Tbsp (28g) Ghee
  • 3 Tbsp (33g) Caster sugar
  • ¼ tsp Baking powder
  • 2 tsp Roasted cashew (broken)
  • ⅛ tsp Salt
  • 1 ½ - 2 Tbsp Milk

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add the ghee and caster sugar and whisk for a minute or two, till fluffy.
  3. Add the flour, salt, and cashew and mix well with a fork.
  4. Knead gently with hand to bring the dough together. Add milk as required.
  5. Shape the dough into cookies and make a pattern with a fork.
  6. Bake for 15-18 minutes till golden brown.
  7. Let the cookies cool for 15-20 minutes before serving.
