Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 small, soft bananas (about 3/4th - 1 cup when pureed)
  • 1 heaped cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • A pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup refined oil
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. In a big mixing bowl, put pureed bananas, sugar, oil, vanilla essence, and cinnamon powder. Mix everything well.
  3. Gradually fold the flour mix into the wet batter. Gently fold.
  4. Line a muffin tray with paper cupcake liners.
  5. Pour the batter into the liners, tap the tray twice, and garnish with chopped walnuts.
  6. Bake for 18 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven.
  7. Once done, put the muffin tray on a wire rack.
  8. Once cool, demold, slice, and enjoy these delicious muffins.

Architecture Tip

Where possible, go in for LED lights. The fixture initially is more expensive than the regular CFLs or the incandescent bulbs or the tube lights, but its life is many times more than these. Plus, there is a lot of saving of electricity, and it is environment-friendly.
