Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Oil: 1-2 tsp
  • Curry leaves: 15-20
  • Dry Red chilies: 1-2 (chopped)
  • Almonds: 1 Tbsp (cut into halves)
  • Cashews: 1 Tbsp (dry roasted and cut into halves)
  • Peanuts: 2 Tbsp (dry roasted)
  • Flax seeds: 1 Tbsp
  • Chia Seeds: 1 Tbsp
  • Sesame seeds: 1 Tbsp
  • Makhana: ½ cup (dry roasted and slightly crushed)
  • Chaat Masala: ½ tsp

Instructions:

  1. In a kadai, add the oil and curry leaves.
  2. Once the curry leaves are crisp, add the chopped red chilies and almonds.
  3. Sauté for a minute, then add all other seeds (flax, chia, and sesame).
  4. Sauté for another minute.
  5. Add the roasted cashews and makhana.
  6. Sauté for a minute and add the chaat masala.
  7. Mix well and turn off the flame.
  8. Let it cool completely, then store in an airtight container.
