Recipe

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup (63g) Whole Wheat flour
  • 2 Tbsp (28g) Ghee
  • 3 Tbsp (33g) Caster sugar
  • ¼ tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp (crushed) Roasted kasoori methi
  • ⅛ tsp Ajwain
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 1 ½ - 2 Tbsp Milk

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, add the ghee and Caster sugar and whisk for a minute or two, till fluffy.
  2. Add the flour, salt, methi, ajwain and mix well with a fork.
  3. Knead gently with hand to bring the dough together. Add milk as required.
  4. Preheat the Otg to 170 degrees Celsius.
  5. Shape the dough into round biscuits / mathhis and make pattern with a fork.
  6. Bake for 15-18 minutes till golden brown.
  7. Enjoy with hot coffee or tea.
