This recipe is for a delicious accompaniment to a typical Indian meal. It's so tasty that it can even be a main course. This recipe is for restaurant-style garlic butter naan, but you can make it at home without yeast or a tandoor. It's so simple to make that you'll wonder why you haven't made it at home before.

Recipe

Ingredients: Dough * 1 cup maida * 1 Tbsp garlic paste * 2 Tbsp curd * 1.5 Tbsp oil * 1/2 tsp baking powder * 1/4 tsp baking soda * Salt to taste * 3 Tbsp milk

Topping * 1 tsp kalonji (nigella seeds, black cumin) * 2 tsp coriander (finely chopped)

Brushing * 2 Tbsp butter * 1 tsp garlic paste * 2 tsp coriander (finely chopped)

Instructions: 1. Mix all dough ingredients well to form a soft dough. 2. Cover with a moist cloth and keep aside for at least 45 minutes to an hour. 3. Melt butter and mix all brushing ingredients. 4. After 45 minutes, put a little oil on your hands and knead dough for a couple of minutes. 5. Make 4 balls. 6. Dust flour and roll into ovals. 7. Apply topping on one side and water on the other. 8. Roast on a hot tawa as shown in video. 9. Brush with garlic butter and serve hot.
