Instant Coconut Ladoo

What makes this dish special

Coconut ladoos are a traditional Indian dessert that are popular for their sweet and nutty flavor. This recipe is special because it is an instant version, meaning it can be made quickly and easily without the need for long cooking times or complicated techniques. The use of fresh cream adds a rich and creamy texture to the ladoos, making them even more decadent. The recipe is also customizable, as you can add dry fruits or cardamom powder to suit your taste preferences. These ladoos are perfect for a quick and easy dessert or a festive treat. They are also a great option for those who are new to Indian cooking, as the recipe is simple and straightforward.

Recipe

Ingredients: * Desiccated coconut: 1 cup + 3 Tbsp * Sugar: ⅓ cup * Milk: ½ cup * Fresh cream: ¼ cup * Ghee: 1 tsp

Instructions: 1. In a kadai, add the ghee and 1 cup of coconut. 2. Roast on low flame for 2 to 3 minutes until aromatic. 3. Add the milk and cream. 4. Roast for 2 to 3 minutes until the mixture is dry. 5. Add the sugar and roast for 3 to 4 minutes until the mixture turns gooey. 6. Switch off the flame. 7. Once cool enough to handle, start rolling into laddoos and coat with desiccated coconut. 8. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Cooking Tip: * The whole process should be done on low flame, because desiccated coconut tends to burn very easily.

Architecture Tip

"Form follows function." When designing any building, first of all, take care of the function of the building. The form, what it looks like from the outside, perspective view, 3D view, all of that is secondary.
