Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 1 tsp garlic, finely chopped
- 1 medium onion, cut into quarters and petals separated
- 2 carrots, cut into 2" long pieces
- 1 cup beans, cut into 3" long pieces
- 1 cup broccoli, cut into florets
- 1 cup cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 cup mushrooms, cut into quarters
- ¼ cup tomato ketchup
- 1-1½ Tbsp vinegar
- ¼ tsp soy sauce
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- ½ tsp black pepper powder
- 1-1½ Tbsp cornflour, mixed with 2-3 Tbsp water
Instructions:
- In a pan, add the oil. Once hot, add the garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds, then add the onion.
- Once the onion is transparent, add all the vegetables. Sauté on high flame for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Add all the sauces, salt, red chili powder, and black pepper.
- Add about 1 cup of water.
- Once it comes to a boil, add the cornflour slurry while stirring, and then add the vinegar.
- Adjust consistency by adding more water or cornflour.
- Serve hot on a bed of steamed rice, with hakka noodles, or with a side of toast.

"We should give wall-hung WCs if possible. Wall-hung commodes are those that hang from the wall. One, because nowadays our apartments or homes also have space constraints, so toilet sizes are normally small. If you are giving wall-hung WCs, then their size, what they jut out from the wall, is very less. As a result, you gain space.
