Recipe

Ingredients: * 300g potatoes (boiled, cooled, and mashed) * 120g spinach (washed, dried, and cut coarsely) * 1 cup green peas * ½ cup coriander (chopped coarsely) * 3-4 green chilies * ½ inch ginger * Salt to taste * ½ tsp chaat masala * ½ tsp garam masala * 2 Tbsp roasted gram flour * ¼ cup bread crumbs * Oil

Instructions:

  1. In a pan, take 1 tsp oil. Add the green chilies and ginger.
  2. Add the spinach and peas. Sauté for 2 to 3 minutes until completely dry.
  3. Blend coarsely with the coriander leaves, once cool.
  4. In a bowl, add the potatoes. Add the blended mixture, garam masala, chaat masala, roasted gram flour, and salt to taste. Mix well.
  5. If the mixture is soggy, add 1 or 2 Tbsp of bread crumbs.
  6. Roll the mixture into patties and coat with bread crumbs. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
  7. Fry in hot oil until golden. Alternatively, you can pan-fry too.
  8. Serve hot with salad, green chutney, or ketchup.
