Recipe
Ingredients: * Baby potatoes: 500g (washed with skin on) * Oil: 2 Tbsp * Water: 1 cup * Soy sauce: 2 ½ Tbsp (dark) or 5 Tbsp (light) * Honey: 3 Tbsp * Salt: to taste * Red chili flakes: 1 tsp * Garlic: 1 tsp (finely chopped) * Sesame seeds: 1Tbsp + ½ Tbsp * Coriander: 1 Tbsp (finely chopped)
Instructions: 1. Cut the potatoes into halves. 2. In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat the oil and add the potatoes. 3. Cook on high heat for 7-10 minutes, tossing at intervals, until the edges are golden brown. 4. Add the garlic, chili flakes, and salt. Toss well. 5. Mix the soy sauce and honey with the water. Add the mix to the potatoes. 6. Turn the heat to medium and cook with the lid on until the water turns into a saucy consistency. Check to see that the potatoes are tender, else add a little more water. 7. Once done, add 1Tbsp of the sesame seeds. Mix well. 8. Serve hot, garnished with sesame and coriander.
